The alleged incompetence of President Muhammadu Buhari in managing the country has been blamed for the general insecurity plaguing Nigeria. This submission was made by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the wake of the attack by bandit terrorists on the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) on Tuesday morning. It will be recalled that unknown gunmen in the early hours of Tuesday, breached the security of the NDA, killed two military officers and escaped into the bush with another abducted officer.

A Catholic priest based in Gambia, Fr Kelvin Ugwu, has accused the Nollywood industry of promoting the perception of grandmothers as witches. He also claimed that the industry also initiated the concept that humans or spirits could just disappear and appear in any location they want.
