America’s Got Talent Season 12 winner Darci Lynne Farmer has a new song out called “Just Breathe,” and there’s not a puppet in sight. The track is from the new movie A Cowgirl’s Song, in which Darci stars.

Darci Lynne Releases New Song ‘Just Breathe’

Darci released a music video to go along with the song, which she performs with musical duo The Imaginaries. The 17-year-old shows off an amazing voice, reminding everyone that she won AGT for more than just her ventriloquism skills.

“Just breathe, let go of the past / Just breathe, there’s no looking back,” Darci sings on the track’s uplifting chorus. “We can turn it around / Hope was lost, now it’s found / I see the light up ahead now / Just breathe.”

The video also features footage from the new movie A Cowgirl’s Song, which stars Darci and Savannah Lee May as sisters who go to live with their grandmother, a former country star played by Cheryl Ladd. Filming took place last year.

‘A Cowgirl’s Song’ Soundtrack Is Available Now

The new movie A Cowgirl’s Song is out in theaters and on digital today. Fans can also listen to the movie’s official soundtrack, which includes eleven songs, including a few featuring Darci.

In addition to “Just Breathe,” Darci also sings two versions of “Keep on the Sunny Side” with her co-star Savannah Lee May. The pair also join Maggie McClure, Cheryl Ladd, and Shane Henry on a song called “Party Time.”

This is Darci’s first movie role. She’ll also appear in the upcoming biopic Reagan, starring Dennis Quaid as the former president. Not to mention, she’s currently on tour. The AGT winner continues to have an amazing career, and she’s still just a teenager. We can’t wait to see what she does next.
